Well this is one good thing that has come out of this year so far! Its been hard for a lot of small businesses since the last St .Patrick's Day in 2020, with shops and other retail outlets closing. Trying to think of something positive to start this year, despite the challenges presented by Covid 19, led me to search information on various Irish tree charities. I decided that the Tree Council of Ireland suited Moonwood as a business, trying to promote the planting of native Irish trees. So Moonwood will now be sponsoring the planting of a minimum of two Irish trees each year which makes me feel proud, uplifted and hopeful for the coming years.
